A belated welcome back from a long time reader & first time poster on ur immensely resourceful blog(your industry insight is, for a lack of a better word, nonpareil). Too bad I live in LA, otherwise I’d love to meet & talk! I started following ur blog when it was 1st mentioned in a posting back in the perfume of life forum in ’07(?) & I’m glad u decided to continue writing while pursuing ur life-long dream abroad lived vicariously by many of us back on basenotes;) It’d be interesting to relive ur rites of passage had u kept ur old blog entries(I tried very hard to find them on ur blog). If u have them stashed away somewhere, I’d love to ask u 4 a copy to reread them again..
Just out of curiosity: I try to keep tabs on Asian perfumers such as Loc Dong, Cécile Hua and urself. I recall u posting a picture of u & ur classmates back in perfumery school & one reader incredibly mistook u for an Asian girl in the same photo.. Did she eventually become a perfumer?
